Our client is a growing general contractor based in the Greater Montreal area. The company specializes in major residential additions and renovations, building envelope restoration projects for multi-unit residential buildings, as well as commercial renovations. Projects ranging from $100,000 to $1 million are completed through subcontractors and delivered on a turnkey basis.
As part of a close-knit project team, you will take ownership of your projects from start to finish, from project launch through final handover. Working directly on job sites, you will coordinate subcontractors, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain the balance between budget, schedule, and quality. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where decisions are made quickly. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring regular travel to job sites across the Greater Montreal area (North Shore and South Shore).
Tasks
Manage three to four projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.
Plan and coordinate subcontractors' work on job sites.
Maintain a regular presence on job sites, including progress monitoring, taking photos, and preparing daily reports.
Ensure the quality of work performed by subcontractors.
Monitor project budgets and schedules.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and keep them informed of project progress.
Quickly identify site issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with the Operations Director, particularly regarding communications with architects and engineers.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Experience in construction or renovation project management, ideally on projects valued between $100,000 and $1 million.
Strong field experience and solid knowledge of residential construction methods.
Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal support structure.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and overseeing quality control.
Strong attention to budget, schedule, and quality management.
Experience in disaster restoration/reconstruction (an asset).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Resourceful, proactive, and an effective communicator.
Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Greater Montreal area.
