We are looking for a property administrator to manage rents and maintain communication with tenants. Our client is seeking a person who is passionate about customer service, desires stability, and has good bilingual skills to serve their English-speaking clientele. Tasks

  • Explain tenants' balances.
  • Ensure the collection of rents and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Communicate with tenants by phone and email.
  • Process cheque deposits (via a cheque scanner available at the office).
  • Record transactions in the accounting system.
  • Process pre-authorized payments using the software and transfer them to the bank.
  • Send tenants notices regarding rent increases or changes.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Hold a high school diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English due to a bilingual clientele (50% of the time).
  • Experience in bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Experience in collections – commercial, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Spectra software, an asset.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, an asset.
