It is looking for a Purchasing and Production Planner. You will coordinate procurement, inventory management and order planning to ensure smooth and efficient production in a stimulating and collaborative environment.
Tasks
Purchasing and Procurement :
Analyze the needs for materials and components.
Place orders, track deliveries, follow up with suppliers and compare offers to optimize purchases.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers and ensure the compliance of products received.
Inventory and warehouse management :
Organize and supervise storage.
Carry out periodic and annual inventories.
Identify and track non-compliant products.
Prepare and distribute the components needed for production.
Production planning :
Develop production plans according to priorities and orders.
Prepare production orders (material lists – LoCs).
Ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
Adjust schedules in case of unforeseen events.
Maintain an optimal level of inventory to avoid shortages or surpluses.
Inter-departmental collaboration :
Work closely with sales, production, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
Identify bottlenecks in order to improve processes.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
DEP or DEC in procurement, logistics or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Good command of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and office automation tools (Excel, Outlook).
Organizational skills, rigor and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
Team player, autonomy and strong communication skills.
Experience in metal or furniture manufacturing (an asset).
Knowledge of procurement, inventory management and industrial production practices (an asset).
Familiarity with material lists (LoM) and manufacturing processes (an asset).
