Our client, a proactive company with nearly 20 years of expertise in metal transformation, is hiring a Quality Analyst to join their team. In this key role, you will be responsible for verifying and ensuring the quality of products, playing a vital role in project success and continuous improvement in production. Tasks

  • Inspect and approve parts throughout the manufacturing process, from production to the finished product, in accordance with industry norms and standards.
  • Ensure part dimensions meet quality requirements.
  • Identify non-conformities.
  • Complete documentation and write various reports following inspections.
  • Conduct audits and ensure certifications required by the company are maintained.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders involved in the quality process.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to resolve issues and eliminate waste.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering or other relevant training and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of welding and assembly inspection, as well as manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong knowledge of metrology tools and blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, NADCAP, and CWB.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French, with functional English (communication with English-speaking clients and suppliers approximately 10% of the time).
