Do you have a strong background in technical sales within the mining, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors? Do you enjoy crafting tailored solutions for clients, managing a large territory independently, and driving high-value products? This role is made for you. Our client, an innovative company designing and supplying high-performance filtration, pumping, and sludge treatment systems, is looking for a Sales Director – Mining Market. In this role, you will develop sales across Canada, manage key client relationships, and act as a technical solutions ambassador.

Tasks

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Canadian mining industry
  • Identify technical needs and recommend tailored solutions (filter presses, pumping systems, full-scale plants)
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, analysis, proposals, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure feasibility and performance of proposed projects
  • Monitor market trends, establish partnerships, and optimize business opportunities
  • Maintain detailed activity, forecasting, and client feedback reports
  • Apply best health and safety practices during site visits and travel

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the mining, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors
  • Knowledge of the Canadian market and key players (buyers, standards, environments)
  • High availability for travel across Canada
  • Proficiency with IT tools and CRM systems
  • Advanced English and French required to communicate with clients (80% of the time in English)
