Tasks

  • Business development
  • Lead new business development across Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area through strategic prospecting, cold outreach, client visits, referrals, and networking.
  • Build strategic partnerships and identify opportunities for sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Promote and sell Bedard Human Resources' full range of services, including temporary staffing, permanent recruitment, HR consulting, and international recruitment solutions.
  • Identify client needs and recommend tailored recruitment and workforce solutions.
  • Present service offerings, negotiate agreements, and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop and expand key accounts through consistent follow-up and relationship management.
  • Pipeline and opportunity management
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and activity targets.
  • Use CRM tools consistently to document client interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
  • Quickly respond to inbound leads and convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Monitor market activity and identify new sectors, accounts, and partnership opportunities.
  • Internal collaboration
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of new clients to the recruitment and operations teams.
  • Work closely with recruitment and operations teams to support client satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Contribute to internal discussions regarding pricing strategies, market positioning, and service offerings.
  • Share market insights and business updates with the team to support overall growth.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Five or more years of proven success in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline management, closing new business, and growing accounts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to clearly position and sell professional service offerings.
  • A strategic hunter mindset with the discipline to manage a territory and maintain consistent follow-up.
  • High autonomy, initiative, accountability, and a results-driven approach.
  • Comfort working in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to represent the company externally.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, professional services, or an understanding of workforce challenges is considered an asset.
