Our client is a growing player in the industrial products sector, serving a wide range of clients with innovative and tailored solutions. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Sales Representative to support growth and strengthen their market presence in Québec and surrounding regions.
The Sales Representative serves as the face of our client in the field. This role involves visiting clients and prospects, identifying needs, providing expert advice, and proposing customized solutions. The representative will maintain and grow a trusted client base, contribute to business development efforts, and support the company’s commercial success within the assigned territory.
Tasks
Promote products to current and prospective clients within the assigned territory.
Clearly and persuasively explain product benefits and advantages.
Plan travel schedules to maximize time spent with customers.
Participate in several trade shows annually.
Stay up to date on industry trends and conduct market research.
Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
Conduct cold calls, walk-ins, and regular customer visits.
Maintain strong client relationships and assess satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, engineering, production, customer service).
Use CRM and Microsoft 365 tools to track opportunities, sales, deliveries, and customer feedback.
Handle the administrative follow-up of the sales process.
Assist in drafting, submitting, and negotiating offers and quotes.
Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements
High school diploma (DES) or equivalent; other relevant training accepted.
3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or related product sales.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle and full insurance.
Well-organized with the ability to manage frequent travel, including outside Québec.
Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written), as there will be frequent travel to the USA.
Ability to assess needs, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
Knowledge of the wine industry or experience in a vineyard (an asset).
