Our client, a Quebec-based company specializing in technological solutions and management systems, is looking for a senior accounting clerk to support its growth and actively contribute to its financial management.

Tasks

  • Oversee the full accounting cycle.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and deposits.
  • Produce government remittances (GST, QST, EHT, etc.).
  • Manage payroll.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Record month-end and year-end entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and collaborate in the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Work with external accountants and financial partners.
  • Ensure filing, organization, and archiving of accounting documents.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEC in Accounting or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written, to communicate with clients (70% French-speaking, 30% English-speaking).
