Our client is seeking a Senior Electromechanic to ensure the reliability and availability of its production equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance activities, identifying the root causes of mechanical and electrical failures, and contributing to continuous equipment improvement initiatives.
Tasks
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement lasting solutions.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
Read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and schematics.
Participate in continuous improvement projects related to equipment and maintenance processes.
Perform work on electrical control systems as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
Modify PLC programs and operator interfaces when required.
Identify health and safety hazards and participate in implementing corrective measures.
Perform all other related duties.

DEP in Electromechanics or equivalent training.
Strong experience in industrial maintenance in an autonomous role.
Experience with heavy machinery and large-scale equipment, particularly conveyor systems.
Strong mechanical and industrial electrical skills.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures.
