Tasks

  • Creating designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Performing necessary calculations and preparing technical documentation, primarily for steel and concrete structures.
  • Tracking, verifying, and controlling process and deliverable quality.
  • Evaluating and organizing tasks required to complete projects successfully.
  • Participating in meetings with the project team, clients, architects, and other professional stakeholders.
  • Cultivating harmonious relationships with colleagues, suppliers, contractors, clients, and all other stakeholders associated with the company's operations.
  • Performing any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other relevant fields.
  • Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec membership.
  • Significant experience with metal and concrete.
  • Experience in the mining industry will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, SAFI, ADA.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a car.
