Team Leader – Warehouse

Tasks

• Ensure follow-up on inspections related to quality control.
• Provide the necessary training to employees within the department.
• Collaborate with the evening coordinator to plan production tasks.
• Inform the day coordinator daily of any production delays, analyze root causes, and propose appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform and/or supervise the assembly of ongoing work orders.
• Notify the evening coordinator in cases of non-compliance with procedures.
• Continuously propose innovative work methods to improve productivity.
• Provide technical support to production employees.
• Suggest new approaches or topics to enhance the quality of training provided.
• Complete and ensure completion of all required production documentation.
• Encourage effective communication among team members.
• Ensure compliance with plant regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with the coordinator in managing non-conformity cases or disciplinary issues.
• Maintain consistent oversight of cleanliness and safety in work areas.
• Inform employees of safety rules and ensure their strict application.
• Perform any other related tasks as required by operational needs.

Job requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in warehousing.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle (an asset).
• Knowledge of the construction materials and exterior cladding industry (an asset).
