Are you passionate about flowers and gardening? Our client is a company specialized in the production of flowers and bouquets operating in Montreal. We are looking for a team leader for the production department. If you have an eye for detail and take pride in completing tasks well, we encourage you to apply!

Tasks

  • Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of received orders and shipping them according to specifications.
  • Verifying the accuracy of shipping documents (labels, invoices, delivery proofs).
  • Participating in inventory counting and ensuring the accuracy of product inventory.
  • Communicating with various departments to ensure order compliance.
  • Inspecting, cutting, and analyzing quality according to procedures.
  • Collaborating with the quality department to maintain high product standards.
  • Making deliveries with a van to clients (3-5 times per week) and picking up products at the airport.
  • Assisting with employee training.
  • Entering data into the computer.
  • Acting as a substitute during supervisor vacations or absences.

Job requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment for extended periods.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a team leader.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing sector (an asset).
  • Access to a vehicle.
  • Very good knowledge of French.
  • Good computer skills (Excel / RF scanner).
  • Valid sit-down forklift license (an asset).
  • Basic knowledge of English to communicate with suppliers in Ontario (5 to 10% of the time).
