Reporting to the Fleet Director, you will be part of the garage department and will coordinate activities related to vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Our client, a major player in the transportation and logistics industry, is currently seeking a dynamic Technical Advisor to join its evening team at its Ville Saint-Laurent facility.
Tasks
Manage Equipment Maintenance:
Plan vehicle returns for inspections according to established schedules and operational needs
Communicate with operations regarding the current and future status of the fleet
Plan and maintain the garage’s operational schedule
Maintain maintenance records and prepare maintenance and service call reports
Manage External Repairs:
Plan, coordinate, analyze, and approve repairs performed by suppliers
Coordinate Roadside Services:
Handle service calls and repair requests from drivers, valets, and customers
Plan and monitor roadside service activities
Analyze repair requests and identify efficient solutions
Perform any other related duties as required

Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $65,000 per year

Job requirements
DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or Diesel Mechanics (asset)
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position or other relevant experience
Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills in both French and English
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and excellent priority management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Knowledge of AS400 and CommonSense systems (asset)
