Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse and Inventory Coordinator for its distribution center located in Québec City. Tasks

  • Receive, sort, store, and ship merchandise.
  • Prepare appliances and orders for delivery.
  • Load trucks while respecting delivery schedules and routes.
  • Perform cycle counts and ensure accurate product tracking within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, stackers, etc.).
  • Package and secure merchandise for transportation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Inspect vehicles and report any irregularities or issues.
  • Support drivers by answering questions and assisting in resolving operational situations.
  • Provide support to the dispatch and customer service departments as needed.
  • Report lost, damaged, or missing goods and complete the required documentation.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of one year of warehouse experience or experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Experience using material handling equipment (pallet jacks, straps, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safe handling practices and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required to facilitate internal communications (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and overtime when required.
