Our client, a dynamic company based in Quebec and recently established in the province, is experiencing strong growth in the transportation/logistics sector. To support this expansion, the company is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team.

Tasks

  • Receive, sort, store, and ship goods.
  • Prepare and load appliances according to delivery order.
  • Operate handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Ensure the safety of products during transport (straps, blankets, etc.).
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain proper stock management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support drivers and respond to operational requests on-site.
  • Assist with vehicle preparation and inspection.
  • Interact with clients as needed and provide professional service.
  • Support dispatch or customer service when required.
  • Follow safety standards, including hazardous materials management.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Experience with handling equipment (highly valued).
  • Forklift certification (asset).
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads.
  • Capacity to work in a dynamic and physically demanding environment.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and a strong team player.
  • Comfortable with computer tools (Excel, inventory systems, etc.).
  • Bilingualism (French and intermediate English) required for about 10% of communication with head office, both written and verbal.
  • Flexible schedule (day, evening, weekend shifts).
  • Professional attitude and strong customer service skills.
