Our client, a well-established company in the heavy equipment industry, is currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk to handle the receiving and shipping of parts to support operations at its Boucherville branch. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing shipments, receiving goods, verifying order accuracy, performing data entry, tracking documentation, and contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse. The ideal candidate must work with precision, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean, structured, and efficient work environment.
Tasks
Prepare shipments by clearly identifying parts and goods to be sent.
Verify order accuracy prior to shipment.
Safely package goods to minimize the risk of damage during transport.
Prepare shipping documents, including waybills and customs documentation, when required.
Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
Receive incoming goods.
Inspect deliveries to identify damage, overages, or missing items.
Record receipts in the internal system and maintain accurate records.
Release pending orders and distribute goods to the appropriate individuals or departments.
Process returns with suppliers.
Investigate, report, and claim missing items with carriers or suppliers.
Inform relevant recipients when discrepancies are identified in receiving or shipping.
Participate in cycle inventory counts.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while respecting internal procedures and health and safety standards.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
High school diploma or relevant work experience.
1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of heavy equipment, mechanical, or a related field.
Understanding of shipping, receiving, and transportation processes.
Good knowledge of computer systems for data entry.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and ensure thorough documentation follow-up.
Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in accordance with health and safety procedures and lift up to 50 lbs.
