Our client, a well-established international company specializing in technical solutions for the building and industrial sectors, is seeking a Warehouse Lead / Warehouse Clerk for its Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu location. In this role, you will play a key part in receiving goods, preparing orders, managing inventory, and coordinating shipments. You will enjoy a professional and friendly work environment, along with a high level of autonomy in your day-to-day responsibilities.

Tasks

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, from receiving incoming goods to shipping outgoing orders.
  • Receive supplier deliveries and containers, and verify the accuracy and condition of incoming merchandise.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately, including product assembly, packaging, and shipping.
  • Generate shipping labels and verify shipping documents before orders are dispatched.
  • Accurately record inventory movements in the company’s system.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform necessary follow-ups, and contribute to inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments while maintaining effective communication with transportation providers.
  • Organize storage areas to maximize space, improve product accessibility, and support efficient operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and functional warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with customer service and other departments to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Perform any other duties required to support warehouse operations.

Job requirements

  • Experience in warehousing, order picking, shipping and receiving, or inventory management.
  • Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliable, resourceful, and accountable.
  • Strong attention to detail when verifying orders and inventory records.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to take initiative and solve day-to-day operational issues.
  • Ability to perform physical work and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Professional attitude and ability to collaborate with various departments and external partners.
