Our client, a leading distributor of industrial paint products and tools, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.

Tasks
Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal workflow.
Supervise a team of 5 to 10 employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and monitoring health, safety, and quality compliance.
Manage orders, priorities, returns, and shipments using Fidelio, while maintaining strict inventory control and handling of non-conforming products.
Plan and oversee transportation, deliveries, pickups, and equipment maintenance (packaging machines, forklifts, trucks).
Perform inter-warehouse transfers as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse, ensuring adherence to mandatory procedures and training (first aid, TDG, WHMIS, forklift operation).
Optimize logistics processes, reduce errors, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure internal and external communication, as well as administrative management (emails, requests, record keeping).
Supervise warehouse opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and safety checks.
Handle, when necessary, the movement of goods between different warehouse locations.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Degree in management or equivalent experience in supervising, coaching, and training teams.
Minimum of 3 years of team supervision experience in a comparable operational environment, such as a high-volume distribution center.
At least 5 years of experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Knowledge of logistics procedures: receiving, shipping, SKU management, transportation, and inventory control.
Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
Up-to-date certifications are an asset: First Aid, forklift operation, TDG, and WHMIS.
