Tasks

  • Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Prepare parts for welding: cut, grind, adjust, and position components for assembly.
  • Weld metal components using appropriate processes (MIG, TIG, arc welding, etc.).
  • Assemble metal structures while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect welds for conformity and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve production and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed.

Job requirements

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in welding and fitting or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of welding processes and safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical blueprints.
