Do you hold a recognized welding certification from Canada or abroad? We are looking for an experienced Welder to join a Quebec-based marine company specializing in shipbuilding, vessel repair, and marine services in the Gaspésie region.

Tasks
Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding procedures.
Cutting materials and completing assemblies according to fabrication drawings.
Performing welding work in compliance with CWB certification standards (all 4 positions).
Carrying out various welding-related tasks based on the needs of ongoing projects.
Actively contributing to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on site.

Job requirements
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Welding and Fitting or equivalent relevant experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and the use of jigs and fixtures.
CWB certification card is considered an asset.
Experience in a shipyard environment is a strong asset.
Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors.
