Our client, a company located in Sherbrooke, is seeking a Director of Sales to play a key role in the expansion of a growing business. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for account management, new client acquisition, and retail sales development, while actively contributing to revenue growth across Canada and the United States.

Tasks

  • Actively develop new markets and identify high-potential business opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to penetrate new territories and build a network of partners.
  • Convert prospects into customers and build lasting relationships with distributors.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and drive sales growth.
  • Support partners in their initiatives and assist with commercial activities.
  • Ensure thorough follow-up on opportunities, proposals, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • University degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in business development, network development, or sales.
  • Bilingualism (advanced French and English, both spoken and written) to communicate regularly with English-speaking clients across Canada and the United States.
  • Available to travel within the United States and Canada (approximately 30% of the time from September to April).
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong initiative and organizational skills.
