Our client is a well-established Quebec-based company, recognized for the quality of its operations, its stability, and its performance-driven approach. As part of its growth, the company is seeking a Financial Controller (CPA) who will act as a strategic partner to management by overseeing financial management, cost control, financing, as well as the identification and monitoring of grants and government funding programs.
Tasks
Oversee all accounting and financial activities while ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and period-end closing.
Lead budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and applicable accounting standards.
Implement effective internal controls, coordinate audits, and manage relationships with financial institutions.
Supervise the accounting team and act as a business partner to management to support growth and strategic decision-making.
Identify and coordinate opportunities related to grants, tax credits, and government assistance programs.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA designation required or in progress.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines.
