We are currently looking for a passionate Senior PLC Programmer specialized in automation! In this key role, you will be responsible for designing and deploying innovative solutions using PLC and HMI programming, while optimizing existing systems. You will work closely with engineering and technical service teams to integrate the latest technologies. This position also offers the opportunity to enhance your skills through ongoing training in software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Tasks
Design and program controllers for innovative R&D projects.
Develop and document high-performance control applications.
Create and execute test plans to ensure quality standards.
Program advanced automation solutions.
Contribute to electrical design and system commissioning.
Quickly troubleshoot and optimize technical applications.
Estimate and plan application development efforts.
Write clear and concise project and result reports.
Follow best practices in design and project execution.
Contribute to the development of the company’s robotics projects.
Actively collaborate with the team and ensure regular project follow-ups.
Provide on-site and remote customer support.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
College diploma in Electrical, Software, Electronics, or Robotics Engineering, or equivalent training.
Intermediate to advanced English level to communicate effectively with English-speaking clients and internal teams.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in PLC programming.
Experience in the integration and evolution of new systems (an asset).
Knowledge of real-time operating systems and programming.
Proficiency in Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Instruction List, C#.NET (an asset).
Interest in motion control systems, robotics, CNC, PC, and PLC technologies.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
