Tasks

  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer:
  • Oversee the management and growth of the Power Generation category.
  • Develop and maintain expertise with current and potential suppliers, as well as industry applications.
  • Collaborate with managers to achieve annual sales targets by market, category, and supplier.
  • Participate in negotiations with suppliers regarding contracts, rebates, and strategic agreements.
  • Support growth initiatives and relationships with key strategic accounts.
  • Lead, coach, and mobilize multidisciplinary teams.
  • Optimize operational efficiency and the profitability of engineering activities.
  • Participate in executive reviews and contribute to strategic direction.
  • Maintain ISO standards and certifications.
  • Manage the division’s budget and P&L.
  • Oversee multiple teams totaling approximately 150 employees.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or engineering.
  • MBA – a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a senior Vice President role.
  • Proven experience in operations management, sales, and business development.
  • Experience managing P&L and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) required, as the head office is located in Ontario (approximately 40% of the time).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
