This company, specialized in manufacturing products that meet sanitation and cleaning needs across three key sectors, supermarkets, industry, and agri-food, is looking for an accountant to join its team in Boucherville.
Tasks
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Analyze financial results and make appropriate recommendations to head office.
Produce various financial analysis reports to assess the company’s overall performance.
Post month-end journal entries and ensure monthly closing of accounting records.
Supervise the accounting, billing, and accounts receivable departments.
Perform bank transfers to pay suppliers.
Process payroll and manage employee benefits.
Participate in the development of internal controls and ensure proper follow-up.
Prepare various reports required by government authorities.
Perform any other related tasks as requested by the controller.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingualism, in order to communicate with clients in Western Canada.
Experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset).
