We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant for a temporary replacement position in Saint-Georges-de-Beauce.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations by managing communications, providing administrative support, and coordinating with transportation partners. You will work in a dynamic environment where organization, accuracy, and responsiveness are essential.
Tasks
Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Welcome and assist carriers during loading operations.
Prepare and issue transportation documents, including bills of lading and shipping documents.
Send required documentation to carriers and business partners as needed.
Perform data entry related to weights, inventory, and operational tracking.
Monitor and track bales and shipments.
Prepare daily and weekly reports using Excel and Word.
Communicate with carriers to coordinate logistics and provide support.
Provide general administrative assistance to the team.
Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Strong French communication skills, both written and spoken.
Functional English (important asset to communicate with some drivers approximately 30% of the time).
Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and internal systems.

Strong coordination and communication skills when working with various stakeholders.
