Our client, a well-established company specializing in refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation, is looking for a Billing Clerk to join their dynamic team based in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

Tasks
Receive, sort, verify, and record all invoices, ensuring timely and accurate data entry into the system.
Prepare detailed reports on invoices, payments, and discrepancies; analyze the data and propose process improvements.
Follow up on payments and keep financial documents and transactions up to date.
Collect, validate, and forward payroll-related information as needed.
Work closely with the finance team to support account collections.
Update client records while maintaining a clear traceability of financial operations.
Perform other related administrative or accounting tasks as required.

Job requirements
College diploma in accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of billing software.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Fluent in French (spoken and written).
Functional English required to communicate with English-speaking colleagues and contractors, especially with suppliers from the U.S. and English-speaking provinces in Canada (approximately 30% of the time).
Knowledge of Maestro software is considered an asset.
