Tasks

  • Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational coordination of clinical services. This individual ensures the implementation of established guidelines and acts as a strategic link between the organization's vision and frontline operations. Through strong leadership, the Clinical Coordinator supports intervention teams, promotes service quality, and contributes to smooth operations in a people-focused environment where every action has a meaningful impact.
  • Daily Clinical Operations Coordination
  • Ensure the smooth operation of clinical activities and all organizational services.
  • Ensure compliance with protocols, internal procedures, and the clinical framework.
  • Coordinate operational priorities and team activities.
  • Maintain a frontline presence during shift transitions and critical situations.
  • Support the preparation and facilitation of clinical meetings.
  • Prepare and facilitate team meetings.
  • Manage the clinical on-call schedule.
  • Clinical Supervision and Support for Intervention Staff
  • Support intervention staff in their day-to-day interventions.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback.
  • Ensure the quality of case files and consistency of clinical practices.
  • Participate in resolving complex situations.
  • Actively collaborate with the clinical committee.
  • Contribution to Human Resources Management
  • Support employee professional development.
  • Identify training needs and contribute to their implementation.
  • Participate in the application of personnel management practices.
  • Liaison with the Clinical Manager
  • Translate strategic directions into concrete actions.
  • Communicate field issues and operational needs to management.
  • Recommend and implement operational improvements.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up on organizational priorities.

Job requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, Sexology, or a related discipline).
  • Candidates with a DEC in Social Work or Special Care Counselling/Education, combined with significant experience, will also be considered.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in intervention services.
  • Experience in coordination, supervision, or team management is considered a strong asset.
  • Membership in a recognized professional order is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Laval community sector is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
