Tasks
Process payroll in its entirety for a group of approximately 350 employees while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and internal procedures;
Monitor employee records, payroll transactions, vacations, leaves, absences, statutory holidays, and various benefits;
Prepare payroll deductions and participate in year-end activities (T4 slips, tax forms, annual filings, etc.);
Administer employee benefit programs, including group insurance and pension plans;
Manage employee leave files, including unpaid leave, disability claims, parental leave, workplace injury claims, and retirements;
Update and maintain employee information within HR and payroll management systems;
Serve as a resource person for employees and managers regarding compensation, benefits, and attendance-related inquiries;
Collaborate with the Human Resources team to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and proper flow of information;
Participate, as needed, in fiscal year-end activities;
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
College diploma (DEC) in Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field;
More than five years of relevant experience in payroll processing, compensation, or benefits administration;
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations;
Excellent command of written and spoken French;
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Word;
Comfortable using payroll and human resources management systems;
Strong communication, organizational, and employee service skills;
High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail when handling confidential information;
Experience with an HR and payroll management software system (asset).
