Does handcrafted food speak to you? For more than 40 years, our client has been preparing ready-to-eat meals that make their way onto weeknight dinner tables, family gatherings and weekend getaways. Behind every dish is a team of cooks working with fresh ingredients, local products and carefully developed recipes, all with the same commitment to quality day after day. To continue this tradition, our client is looking for an experienced cook who takes as much pride in preparing a quality product as in knowing that it will become part of someone’s meal just a few hours later.- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, sauces, side dishes and homemade recipes for the ready-to-eat counter. - Follow established recipes and quality standards. - Prepare ingredients, including cutting vegetables, preparing sauces, seasonings and garnishes. - Cook meats, fish, vegetables and other food preparations. - Contribute to the development and improvement of house-made products. - Check the quality, freshness and proper rotation of ingredients. - Monitor food inventory and report replenishment needs. - Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment. - Follow food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards at all times. - Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients and raw materials. - Perform any other related duties.

Tasks

Advantages
