Our client, a leader in the distribution of paint products and accessories in Quebec, is looking for a Customer Service Agent to join their team. This role will allow you to leverage your communication and order management skills to provide high-quality service to a business-to-business clientele. You will work in collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth and optimal service.

Tasks

  • Communicate with clients (B2B) by phone and email.
  • Assist clients in selecting products.
  • Follow up on online orders.
  • Maintain effective communication between departments (sales, accounting).
  • Check stock availability.
  • Enter orders into the system.
  • Ensure stock receipt and inventory updates.
  • Make inventory adjustments.
  • Handle accounts receivable billing and input them into the system.
  • Perform any other tasks required for the position.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients in English (20% of communications).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience in retail or distribution (a significant asset).
  • Knowledge of Fidelio or SAP software (an asset).
