Our client, a company operating in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking an organized, proactive, and customer service-oriented individual to fill the position of Customer Service and Transportation Agent at its Laval office.

Tasks

  • Communicate with customers by phone and email;
  • Prepare quotations and proposals;
  • Understand customer needs and identify delivery constraints to optimize operations;
  • Enter orders into the system;
  • Coordinate the various stakeholders involved in deliveries;
  • Follow up with customers regarding the status of shipments;
  • Assist with accounts receivable management;
  • Perform various administrative tasks;
  • Use Microsoft Office applications daily, particularly Outlook and Excel;
  • Contribute to maintaining personalized, high-quality customer service;
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Experience in customer service, coordination, or dispatching;
  • Experience in transportation, courier services, or logistics (a strong asset);
  • Excellent communication and listening skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced bilingualism in French and English to communicate with English-speaking clients (approximately 30% of the time);
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills;
  • Ability to manage unexpected situations and work under pressure;
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and an excellent memory;
  • Team spirit, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
