Our client, a recognized leader in the food industry, is seeking a passionate Electromechanic to support production operations and contribute to the performance of its industrial equipment. Tasks

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment;
  • Install, assemble, and commission new equipment;
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures;
  • Carry out necessary repairs to minimize downtime;
  • Participate in the improvement and optimization of existing equipment;
  • Conduct various operational and performance tests;
  • Inspect component conditions and replace worn or defective parts;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects for facilities and equipment;
  • Comply with quality, safety, and food safety standards;
  • Perform any other related duties required to support operational efficiency.

Job requirements

  • Diploma in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent training;
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
  • Ability to quickly diagnose technical issues;
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment;
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative;
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving;
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada;
  • Availability to work on-site;
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety procedures.
