Our client is a family-owned business that has been contributing to large-scale projects for over 55 years. Supported by nearly 100 qualified employees, the company successfully manages commercial, industrial, and institutional projects throughout Quebec. As it continues to grow, the company is looking to strengthen its team to ensure the continuity of its success. They are therefore looking to welcome an estimation assistant to support the estimators with all administrative tasks related to bids.
Tasks
Managing the daily communications for the estimation department, including tracking emails and incoming requests.
Opening, organizing, and structuring bid files from receipt to final submission.
Coordinating schedules related to site visits, submission deadlines, and key stages of tenders.
Preparing, assembling, and distributing all required documentation (plans, forms, addenda, submission files).
Coordinating communications with subcontractors: sending invitations, follow-ups, receiving intent and submitted prices.
Managing and updating the estimation system, including exchanges and responses to subcontractors.
Compiling bid results, ensuring document compliance (bonds, insurance, certificates), and transmitting information to concerned partners.
Performing any other related tasks for the position.

Job requirements
DEP in secretarial studies, DEC/AEC in office management, or any other relevant training.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of the key stages and realities of the construction estimation process.
Comfortable with digital document management tools and bidding platforms.
Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and maintain high-quality standards in task execution.
