Our client, a company specializing in the manufacturing of welded mechanical parts, is looking for welders to join their facility in Portneuf.
Tasks
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to prepare the required welds.
Perform welding operations using FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) and SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) processes.
Carry out plasma and oxy-fuel cutting operations as required by the project.
Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
Collaborate with other production team members to meet project deadlines.
Always follow occupational health and safety rules.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in welding and fitting.
Skilled in FCAW and SMAW welding techniques.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Experience in the aluminum, naval, or mining sectors (strong asset).
CWB certification (asset).
