- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Evening shift: Monday to Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Are you looking for a new challenge in welding? Are you detail-oriented and precise? A relocation bonus is available! Our client, a company specializing in the manufacturing of welded mechanical parts, is looking for welders to join their facility in Portneuf.

Tasks

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to prepare the required welds.
  • Perform welding operations using FCAW (flux-cored arc welding) and SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) processes.
  • Carry out plasma and oxy-fuel cutting operations as required by the project.
  • Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
  • Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with other production team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Always follow occupational health and safety rules.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in welding and fitting.
  • Skilled in FCAW and SMAW welding techniques.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in the aluminum, naval, or mining sectors (strong asset).
  • CWB certification (asset).
