We are looking for a coordinator with undeniable leadership qualities who will ensure exceptional service at events or in catering for our various clients. Join a warm and energetic team dedicated to managing conference rooms within a large law firm located in downtown Montreal.

Tasks

  • Assigning and verifying the tasks of assistants in charge of catering, floor supplies, and meeting room inspections.
  • Conducting daily checks on the floors and in the meeting rooms.
  • Overseeing the monthly inventory, managing linen deliveries and returns, and updating the café menus.
  • Regularly inspecting and sorting catering requests received by email, organizing daily meetings with the coordinator, and leading team meetings.
  • Organizing events (happy hours, cleanings) in collaboration with event specialists, ensuring prompt delivery of meals and beverages.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for minor issues and escalating them as needed.
  • Having a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and being able to lift or move loads up to 30 lbs.
  • Performing any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • Leadership and management skills (mandatory).
  • Experience in customer service (mandatory).
  • Bilingualism (English/French) for communicating with English-speaking clients (15% of the time) is a plus.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Neat appearance and adherence to dress code.
