Tasks

  • Participate in the management team and contribute to the long-term growth strategy.
  • Define, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop training, talent development, and management programs.
  • Oversee the onboarding and integration process for new employees.
  • Collaborate with production to plan workforce needs and budgets.
  • Promote a positive work environment, manage conflicts, and mediate when necessary.
  • Manage HR systems, oversee payroll, and maintain employee records.
  • Lead succession planning and performance management initiatives.
  • Establish and track HR KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR actions.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs equitably.
  • Promote health, safety, and well-being at work in compliance with CNESST regulations.

Job requirements

  • Strong command of all HR areas: compensation, health and safety, talent management, training.
  • Good knowledge of Quebec labor laws and CNESST standards.
  • Experience with HR and payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
  • Fluent in both French and English to communicate regularly with English-speaking clients and subcontractors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Administration (CRHA designation is an asset).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (experience in the food industry is an asset).
