To support this mission, we are seeking a Human Resources Advisor who can build lasting relationships of trust with managers and employees within their business division. We are looking for a compassionate and attentive individual who can adapt and recommend interventions for employees living with various limitations or specific conditions. The Human Resources Advisor will support managers and employees by applying recognized human resources practices to promote a respectful, engaging, and continuously improving work environment.
Tasks
Manage recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and employee training for their business division
Ensure compliance with HR policies, collective agreements, professional decrees, and labour laws within their business division
Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary measures
Participate in compensation management, pay equity, and employee benefits administration
Coordinate training programs, including grants and development plan follow-up
Assist in managing occupational health and safety files in collaboration with the Health and Safety Advisor
Prepare files related to labour disputes and represent the organization before the appropriate authorities
Assist in updating policies, employee handbooks, and internal communications
Analyze employee satisfaction surveys and recommend improvement initiatives
Participate in the labour relations committee and help organize employee social activities
Perform any other related duties

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2 to 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
Experience in helping relationships, employee support, or working with individuals with various limitations or specific conditions
Good knowledge of labour laws
Excellent command of French; English is considered an asset
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
Empathy, sound judgment, autonomy, and the ability to adapt interventions to individual needs
Knowledge of an HRIS, experience in a unionized environment, or a CPHR designation are considered assets
