Our client, a well-established Quebec-based company in the industrial (metal) sector located on the south shore of Montreal, is currently looking for a Human Resources Advisor. You will play a central role in a period of transition and standardization of HR practices. In close collaboration with management, you will help consolidate a coherent and compliant work framework, support managers in their human resource responsibilities, and ensure rigorous management of HR files. This position is part of an initiative to standardize, harmonize, and evolve internal practices, while fostering a safe, engaging work environment aligned with legal requirements.
Tasks
Manage the entire recruitment process, including needs analysis, job posting drafting, conducting interviews, onboarding new employees, and managing terminations.
Act as a partner to managers, supporting them with labor relations, disciplinary actions, and the application of internal policies.
Coordinate and structure training activities by analyzing needs, managing subsidies, and ensuring compliance with the 1% law.
Oversee Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), including coordinating the OHS committee, developing prevention programs, managing CNESST cases, disabilities, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Actively participate in the drafting, harmonization, and improvement of HR policies and practices within the context of organizational transition.
Contribute to employee engagement, recognition initiatives, and continuous improvement while maintaining updated HR files and indicators.
Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements
