As a long-time recruitment partner for this company, our client, a logistics expert in the health and beauty industry, is looking for an HR Generalist for their Dorval location. This is an 12-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Tasks
Actively participate in the recruitment process: job postings, pre-screening, interviews, hiring, onboarding, and employee integration.
Coordinate workplace health and safety (OHS) initiatives, including audits with the joint health and safety association.
Lead OHS committee meetings and ensure documentation follow-up.
Organize OHS activities: first aid training, evacuation drills, emergency plan updates.
Manage vacation schedules, personal days, and health spending accounts.
Oversee retirement savings programs (RRSP and DPSP), including enrollments and coordination of info sessions.
Approve worked hours in the TimeZone system.
Collaborate with ADP for payroll coordination.
Update HR reports: employee lists, probation periods, turnover rates, and other reports upon request.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
2 to 5 years of experience in human resources.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and strong English skills, as approximately 50% of communications are in English.
Knowledge of a third language is an asset due to the company’s multicultural environment.
Must own a vehicle for travel between sites.
Ability to travel between two locations in the West Island.
CRHA/CRIA designation (an asset).
Familiarity with ADP (an asset).
Workplace first aid certification (an asset).
