Our client, a well-established and growing company specializing in medical and paramedical equipment, is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Technician to handle the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment used in various healthcare settings throughout Quebec. The ideal candidate must have a vehicle, as repairs are carried out both at the client's locations and at the office.

Tasks

  • Participating in equipment installations and removals during relocations.
  • Performing repairs both in-house and directly at client sites.
  • Diagnosing technical issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Providing courteous and professional customer service.
  • Writing intervention reports and ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Vocational diploma (DEP) in electromechanics or college diploma (DEC) in instrumentation and control.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, basic electronics, computing, and micro-soldering.
  • Functional bilingualism (French/English); the candidate must regularly interact with English-speaking clients.
  • Skilled in manual work.
