Our partner, a well-established and growing law firm offering a wide range of practice areas, is looking for two Legal Technicians for its Quebec City office: one Legal Technician in Corporate Law and one Legal Technician in Civil and Commercial Litigation. The selected candidates will play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of files to ensure efficient, compliant, and seamless daily operations.
Tasks
Prepare, organize, and follow up on legal files, working closely with lawyers, notaries, and team members;
Draft, revise, and format required legal documents, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance;
Manage deadlines, priorities, and schedules, maintaining complete and up-to-date files;
Coordinate administrative steps related to files, including preparing follow-ups, managing documentation, and communicating with relevant stakeholders;
Perform verifications, research, and follow-ups in public registries as required, including SOQUIJ, the Land Register, the RDPRM, the Quebec Enterprise Registrar, or any other relevant platform;
Assist with the preparation, filing, updating, and tracking of documents;
Ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders to support file progression and operational efficiency;
Perform any other related duties required to support the team.

Job requirements
DEC/DEP in legal techniques, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.
Excellent command of French, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Windows environment).
Knowledge of practice/document management software.
Knowledge of public registers (SOQUIJ, land register, RDPRM, etc.).
Rigor, attention to detail, good priority management, and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
