Our client, a company in the agri-food industry, is seeking an Operations and Business Development Manager to support the growth of its exclusive product lines. We are looking for an experienced manager who can oversee all aspects of operations, with a strong focus on performance, optimization, and business growth.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the operational realities of a small to medium-sized business, particularly within the food industry, and can effectively combine strategic vision with hands-on execution. They are comfortable working with key performance indicators (KPIs), financial statements, cross-functional team management, and business development initiatives.
With a central kitchen already in operation and expansion projects underway, the organization is looking to continue growing its activities by optimizing processes and further structuring its operations.
Reporting to management, you will contribute to operational optimization and continuous process improvement while ensuring the overall coordination of central kitchen activities. You will also play a key role in team engagement, priority management, and the execution of strategic projects that support the company’s growth and development.
Tasks
Coordinate the daily operations of the central kitchen.
Plan and optimize production in collaboration with the Head Chef.
Structure processes and improve operational efficiency.
Supervise and motivate the team to foster effective collaboration.
Maintain an organized, high-performing, and safe work environment.
Contribute to business development initiatives and expansion with new clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers and optimize procurement activities.
Establish performance indicators and monitor operational results.
Participate in various continuous improvement projects.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or any other related field;
Significant experience in a leadership or general management role within an SME, ideally in the food industry;
Strong understanding of financial statements, operational KPIs, and profitability drivers;
Hands-on experience managing multiple teams and departments;
Proven experience in business development and organizational growth;
Knowledge of operational and production optimization challenges within a food manufacturing environment;
Ability to develop a strategic vision and translate it into concrete action plans;
Excellent communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
