Do you have experience managing operations in the food or agri-food industry? Our client is seeking an experienced manager to oversee the activities of its central production kitchen and support its expansion projects.
Reporting to senior management, you will supervise daily operations, production activities, and team performance while contributing to process optimization, performance monitoring, and business growth initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the realities of a food manufacturing SME and the ability to translate strategy into action.
Tasks
Coordinate the daily operations of the central kitchen.
Plan and optimize production in collaboration with the Head Chef.
Structure processes and improve operational efficiency.
Supervise and motivate the team to foster effective collaboration.
Maintain an organized, high-performing, and safe work environment.
Contribute to business development initiatives and expansion with new clients.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers and optimize procurement activities.
Establish performance indicators and monitor operational results.
Participate in various continuous improvement projects.
Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or any other related field;
Significant experience in a leadership, operations management, or business development role within an SME environment, preferably in the food industry;
Strong understanding of financial statements, operational KPIs, and profitability drivers;
Hands-on experience managing multiple teams and departments;
Proven experience in business development and organizational growth;
Knowledge of operational and production optimization challenges within a food manufacturing environment;
Ability to develop a strategic vision and translate it into concrete action plans;
Excellent communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
