From procurement strategies and negotiations to contract management and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, each mandate allows you to analyze, advise, and move projects forward. Our client is seeking a Procurement and Contract Management Advisor to contribute to large-scale projects, from the development of acquisition strategies through contract and supplier management. This is a role where your expertise matters, where assignments are stimulating, and where your recommendations can have a tangible impact.

Tasks

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of large-scale procurement projects in collaboration with various partners and internal teams.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and contracting approaches tailored to business needs, stakeholder objectives, and market conditions.
  • Conduct market analyses, benchmarking activities, and industry monitoring to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation, drafting, and review of tender documents and contractual documentation.
  • Contribute to the drafting and revision of administrative, commercial, and contractual clauses.
  • Participate in bid evaluations and provide recommendations on commercial and administrative aspects.
  • Manage the administrative and commercial follow-up of contracts under your responsibility.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, timelines, and supplier deliverables.
  • Participate in the processing of change requests, waivers, and contract amendments.
  • Contribute to resolving non-compliance issues, commercial concerns, and contractual disputes.
  • Prepare tracking reports, registers, analyses, presentations, and other tools required for file management.
  • Coordinate meetings, working groups, and committees with stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Follow up on action items, decisions, and deadlines related to assigned files.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of procurement and contract management processes.
  • Monitor regulatory, commercial, and contractual trends relevant to the industry.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, contract management, contract administration, or contractual project management.
  • Experience in public procurement.
  • Experience managing complex contracts or large-scale procurement projects is considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong autonomy, attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent coordination and collaboration abilities with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Fluency in French and a good command of English, both spoken and written. Functional English will also be considered (to communicate with clients approximately 30% of the time).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
