Tasks
Assign daily tasks to welders and ensure each workstation has work.
Prepare and move materials, parts, and assemblies to the appropriate workstations.
Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks.
Maintain a clean and safe production environment.
Communicate with supervisors to report any immediate issues on the floor.
Ensure basic materials and consumables (gloves, welding wire, gas) are available for each shift.
Assist with inventory and tool organization as needed.
Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements
Experience working on a production floor or in industrial handling.
Ability to operate a forklift (certification is an asset).
Good physical condition and ability to work independently.
Fluency in spoken and written French. Functional English is required for a small percentage of customer interactions (approximately 5%).
Ability to ensure all workstations have work for the shift.
Maintain a safe and orderly production floor.
Prevent production downtime related to lack of materials or consumables.
