Tasks

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily production activities of the evening shift.
  • Ensure optimal use of labor, equipment, and raw materials.
  • Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team: task assignment, attendance management, on-the-job training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, work procedures, and production deadlines.
  • Apply and enforce health and safety rules, participate in incident investigations, and promote best occupational health and safety practices.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimization opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with other supervisors and related departments (planning, quality, maintenance, HR, etc.).
  • Produce production reports and ensure rigorous monitoring of key performance indicators.
  • Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements

  • DEP in welding-assembly, metal structures, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to read complex plans and welding skills (CWB card is an asset).
  • Experience in personnel management.

  • Leadership, good judgment, versatility, and rigor.
  • Excellent communication skills in French.
  • Ability to manage conflicts, organize work, and motivate a team.
