Our client, a well-established company in the metal fabrication sector, is seeking an evening production supervisor. This is a perfect opportunity to apply your technical and interpersonal skills in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
Tasks
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the daily production activities of the evening shift.
Ensure optimal use of labor, equipment, and raw materials.
Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team: task assignment, attendance management, on-the-job training, and performance evaluation.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, work procedures, and production deadlines.
Apply and enforce health and safety rules, participate in incident investigations, and promote best occupational health and safety practices.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process optimization opportunities.
Communicate effectively with other supervisors and related departments (planning, quality, maintenance, HR, etc.).
Produce production reports and ensure rigorous monitoring of key performance indicators.
Perform all other related duties.

Job requirements
DEP in welding-assembly, metal structures, or equivalent experience.
2 to 5 years of relevant supervisory experience in an industrial setting.
Ability to read complex plans and welding skills (CWB card is an asset).
Experience in personnel management.
Desired profile
Leadership, good judgment, versatility, and rigor.
Excellent communication skills in French.
Ability to manage conflicts, organize work, and motivate a team.
