Our client is a construction company specializing in commercial interior fit-outs across North America. Their projects primarily involve retail and office spaces. The project team, based in the office, manages projects from contract award through to final closeout.
Working directly with Project Manager(s), you will support projects from the moment a contract is awarded until completion. You will serve as the link between the office, job sites, and external partners, ensuring information, documentation, and materials are delivered according to project schedules. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Tasks
Support Project Manager(s) from contract award through project completion
Coordinate schedules, milestones, meetings, and deliverables
Manage project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and Requests for Information (RFIs)
Monitor and track shop drawings
Prepare meeting minutes and progress reports
Facilitate communication between the office and construction sites
Follow up on procurement activities and ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
Perform any other related duties as required

Job requirements
2 to 5 years of experience in construction project coordination
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Microsoft Project (strong asset)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in document management
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proactive and action-oriented approach
Interest in advancing into a Project Manager role (asset)
