Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a recognized company in the food industry. Under the supervision of the Quality Control Manager, the person in this role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, process compliance, and maintaining health and safety standards.
Tasks
Conduct pre-operational inspections.
Monitor, verify, and calibrate measuring instruments.
Perform various tests, including:
• SWAB
• ATP / luminotherapy
• Microbiology
• Cheese samples (finished or unfinished product)
Send samples to external laboratories and compile the results.
Ensure compliance with records and communicate any modifications.
Perform complete traceability exercises.
Develop, revise, and update the quality policy.
Write non-conformity reports, procedures, work instructions, and action plans.
Actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes and product quality.
Train and raise awareness among employees on good hygiene and quality practices.
Participate in obtaining, monitoring, and maintaining HACCP certification.
Verify the quality of raw materials and monitor cleaning (sanitation) and hygiene procedures.
Ensure constant compliance with hygiene measures and established standards.

DEC in food processing, laboratory technology, or dietetics.
Experience in dairy processing (an asset).
