Are you passionate about retail, customer service, and team leadership? Would you like to grow your career in a stimulating cultural environment? We are currently seeking a Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of a museum store and lead a team of approximately ten employees.

Tasks

  • Schedule employee shifts and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Manage cash operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving business objectives.
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and merchandising activities.
  • Ensure the store’s visual presentation and product displays are maintained to a high standard.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • Strong spoken French communication skills.
  • College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of management experience in a retail, bookstore, or similar sales environment.
  • Proven experience supervising, coaching, and motivating a team.
  • Strong sense of autonomy and accountability.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with staff scheduling and workforce planning.
  • Strong organizational and priority-management skills.
  • Leadership qualities, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
